About the Role
The client is seeking a Senior Architect with 15+ years of experience to support a mega project in Qatar.
Qatar project experience is a key requirement, with strong preference for candidates currently based in Qatar or experienced on substantial Qatar projects.
The role requires full-project-lifecycle experience and the ability to lead and coordinate the full technical team on behalf of the client.
Key Requirements
- Lead architectural design and design management across feasibility, concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
- Coordinate architecture, structural, MEP, and other technical disciplines.
- Manage multidisciplinary design reviews, interfaces, and technical issues.
- Bring contracts expertise and strong contractual and commercial understanding of design and construction.
- Provide client-side technical leadership and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Manage stakeholders and make decisions across the project.
- Experience on large-scale or mega developments is required.
- Urban design or master planning experience is advantageous.

The candidate should be an all-round technical leader who can represent the client, understand the overall project, and effectively manage and challenge technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and design management across the project lifecycle.
- Lead and coordinate architecture, structural, MEP, and other technical disciplines.
- Manage multidisciplinary design reviews, interfaces, and technical issues.
- Provide client-side technical leadership on behalf of the project client.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and other project stakeholders.
- Represent the client in technical decision-making and challenge technical teams when appropriate.
- Maintain an integrated view of project disciplines, design, construction, contractual, and commercial matters.
