Responsibilities
- Oversee the end to end month end and year end financial close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, performing complex account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial variance analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and detailed manufacturing cost analyses for the Finance Manager.
- Utilize and navigate advanced ERP systems to streamline and automate daily financial operations.
- Monitor inventory valuation, track fixed assets, and analyze production costs to ensure accurate COGS reporting.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate annual audits, providing all required documentation.
- Ensure strict adherence to local financial regulations, tax laws, and statutory reporting requirements within Qatar.

- Experience in overseeing month end and year end financial close processes
- Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar
- Knowledge of manufacturing cost analysis and inventory valuation

Overview
- Our client is a leading mid sized company in the field of Manufacturing. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail oriented Senior Accountant to join the finance team and drive accurate financial reporting, cost control, and strategic accounting practices.
Main Tasks
- Oversee the end to end month end and year end financial close processes, ensuring absolute accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, performing complex account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial variance analysis.
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements, management reports, and detailed manufacturing cost analyses for the Finance Manager.
- Utilize and navigate advanced ERP systems (such as Oracle, MS Dynamics, or similar) to streamline and automate daily financial operations.
