Role overview

The Financial Reporting Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to support quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, press releases, and investor materials.

The role also supports accounting policies, technical accounting guidance, complex transactions, and financial reporting controls.

Financial reporting and analysis

  • Assist with Forms 10-K, 10-Q, SEC filings, supporting documentation, and iXBRL tagging.
  • Benchmark peer-company SEC disclosures and propose reporting improvements.
  • Review earnings press releases, investor materials, and Audit Committee communications.
  • Research technical accounting guidance for significant, complex, or unusual transactions.

Accounting operations and controls

  • Support treasury accounting systems, ERP interfaces, close routines, and accounting templates.
  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, rollforwards, and monthly management review materials.
  • Support goodwill and intangible asset recoverability evaluations using discounted cash flow models and scenario sensitivities.
  • Assist with benefit plan financial statements and asset price testing.
  • Respond to internal and external auditor questions and support tieouts and SOX controls.
  • Drive process streamlining, automation, system enhancements, and related change activities.

Education and experience

  • A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration is required.
  • At least two years of finance experience are required, preferably in public accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant certification is required.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements is required.

Technical skills

  • Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are required.
  • Excel skills with macros, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs are required.
  • SAP and EPM or similar ERP and consolidation systems experience is a plus.
  • The role requires accuracy, initiative, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and comfort working under tight deadlines.

Compensation

  • The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is $71,500 to $98,300.
  • Individual base pay depends on work location, experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
