Role Overview
Campbell’s is hiring a Sanitation Technician for the Beloit, Wisconsin food manufacturing plant.
The role cleans and sanitizes process equipment and facilities to support safe production and packaging of quality products.
Schedule and Pay
- The position is full time on a rotating second shift, generally from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM, with starting times varying by coverage and production needs.
- The schedule includes working every Sunday and may require mandatory overtime.
- The base rate is $20.45 per hour.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform plant cleaning according to the Master Sanitation Schedule and maintain housekeeping in all plant areas.
- Operate powered lifts, pressure washers, foam applicators, steamers, compactors, and other mechanized and non-mechanized equipment.
- Disassemble and reassemble processing equipment, including machines, pumps, bucket elevators, slurry equipment, and filters.
- Follow safe lifting procedures, report defective equipment and injuries, and work independently with limited direct supervision.
- Perform allergen elimination and follow applicable food safety, hygiene, GMP, OSHA, and PPE procedures.
- Read Safety Data Sheets and prepare and use chemical cleaning agents according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Assist with spill containment, pest activity reporting, debris removal, recycling, chemical handling, and procedure updates.
