Role Overview
The Distribution Coordinator works in a warehouse or depot distribution facility.
The role coordinates facility activities, shipments, inventory, staffing, records, and cross-functional communication.
The position operates within a depot or hub structure and may fill in for site leadership roles.
Pay
- The base rate is $24.00 per hour.
- Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
Schedule
- The regular shift is first shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- Starting times and hours may vary based on coverage, report-offs, production schedules, and holidays.
Distribution Operations
- Direct and coordinate distribution facility activities and establish procedures for shipments and inventory.
- Coordinate distribution activities with sales, record control, purchasing, customer service, planning, and transportation.
- Review bills of lading and orders, assign workers, and coordinate order assembly and delivery.
- Load and unload trucks and pick and sort products as needed.
