Senior Accountant role based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
The position focuses on accounting duties, financial reporting, reconciliations, cash management, audit records, and financial data maintenance.
Experience and Education
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in banking, accounting, finance, or an equivalent qualification.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Execute journal vouchers, maintain the general ledger, and reconcile subsidiary accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, revenue reports, and period-closing summaries.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice checks, supplier payments, settlements, and aged account reviews.
- Perform cash flow management, bank reconciliations, cash calls, and petty cash processing.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate periodic depreciation.
- Reconcile daily transactions, credit balances, refunds, and claim denials, applying adjustments.
- Maintain document control and monthly audit books in line with regulatory standards.
- Use Oracle, Maximo, and Microsoft Office to maintain accurate financial databases.
