Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 15 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding or a related industry.
• At least 5 years in a senior leadership role with significant commercial and P&L responsibility.
• Track record of building, transforming or scaling a logistics business.
• Strong commercial background in business development, customer acquisition and strategic partnerships.
• Broad knowledge of freight and logistics operations across multiple modes and markets.
• Ability to deliver revenue, profitability and growth targets.
• Experience leading and developing large, multicultural teams.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen and execution capability.
• Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Fluent English required; Arabic is an advantage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the business strategy and growth plan for the logistics business.
• Lead commercial development across key markets, customers and industry sectors.
• Build and manage relationships with customers, logistics partners, carriers and other stakeholders.
• Drive revenue, profitability, customer growth and overall P&L performance.
• Develop and optimise logistics products and solutions across relevant modes and services.
• Establish operational processes, service standards and performance KPIs.
• Identify market, customer and partnership opportunities to accelerate growth.
• Lead recruitment, capability building and succession planning.
• Ensure governance across compliance, risk, quality, safety and operational performance.
• Drive technology and digital solutions to improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Represent the organisation with customers, partners, regulators and industry stakeholders.
• Work with senior leadership and corporate functions to deliver strategic objectives.
