Hays seeks a Senior Accountant to support finance operations across regional entities in Dubai and Sudan. The role involves management reporting, financial analysis, and cost control.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management accounts, financial reports, and performance analysis
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Lead product costing, profitability analysis, and cost control initiatives
- Support month-end closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting compliance
- Partner with operations and procurement teams to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
- Support audits, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
- Develop financial dashboards and management reporting using ERP systems and Power BI
- Assist with financial modelling, pricing analysis, and investment evaluations
Requirements
- CMA or equivalent professional qualification
- 12 years of experience in accounting, costing, and management reporting
- Experience within manufacturing, trading, or service sectors
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, costing, and profitability analysis
- Ability to travel periodically to Sudan and support multiple entities
