Responsibilities
- Assist casting teams during start and end of casting operations
- Perform cleaning and preparation of launder systems, SIR system, and casting tables
- Prepare containers for receiving finished goods, including positioning straps and wooden dunnage
- Secure loads following loading operations using appropriate tools
- Operate forklifts to move containers and load onto transport vehicles
- Handle unloading of alloys, consumables, and other materials
- Perform specialized tasks such as dross handling
- Pack finished product bundles into containers per specifications
- Secure loads using tensioning tools for safe transportation

- Ability to perform physical tasks including cleaning and lifting

Major Duties
- Assist casting teams during the start and end of casting operations.
- Perform cleaning and preparation of launder systems, SIR system and casting tables in accordance with operational requirements.
- Prepare containers for receiving finished goods, including positioning of securing straps and wooden dunnage.
- Secure loads following loading operations using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Operate forklifts and related equipment to move empty and loaded containers within storage areas and load containers onto transport vehicles for dispatch.
- Handle unloading of alloys, consumables, and other materials in accordance with operational procedures.
- Perform specialized tasks such as dross handling within designated Casthouse areas.
- Pack finished product bundles into containers in accordance with product specifications and checklists.
- Secure loads using appropriate tensioning tools and methods to ensure safe transportation.
