About the Role

Responsibilities
- Carry out repacking, labelling, and preservation of materials
- Maintain accurate records in warehouse management systems and prepare periodic reports
- Execute core warehouse operations including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, material inspection, binning, stacking, inventory cycle counting, preservation, and housekeeping
- Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all material movements
- Identify, record, and report non conformities, discrepancies, and damages
- Supervise and coordinate material offloading activities including containerized shipments and heavy cargo
- Monitor warehouse conditions and highlight operational risks or safety concerns
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for timely processing of warehouse transactions
- Supervise and manage contractor personnel within the warehouse
- Support continuous improvement initiatives for inventory optimization and process efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or diploma in engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations in industries such as aluminium smelting, oil & gas, steel, or metal manufacturing
- Proficient in computer applications with working knowledge of SAP (MM Module)
- Solid understanding of warehouse processes including goods receipt, issue, material inspection, binning, stacking, inventory control
- Ability to supervise contractor personnel and material handling activities in compliance with SOPs and HSE standards

Major Duties
- Carry out repacking, labelling, and preservation of materials to ensure proper identification, storage, and readiness for binning or dispatch.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records in warehouse management systems; retrieve and present data in specified formats and prepare periodic and ad hoc warehouse reports.
- Execute all core warehouse operations including Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, material inspection, binning and stacking, inventory cycle counting, preservation, and housekeeping in accordance with SOPs.
- Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all material movements to maintain inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Identify, record, and report non conformities, discrepancies, and damages promptly to all relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise and coordinate material offloading activities including containerized shipments, heavy and oversized cargo, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor warehouse conditions and proactively highlight operational risks, safety concerns, or process gaps.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders across departments to obtain necessary information for timely processing of warehouse transactions.
- Supervise and manage contractor personnel within the warehouse including monitoring attendance and HSE compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives including inventory optimization and process efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science or diploma in engineering with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations in industries such as aluminium smelting, oil & gas, steel, or metal manufacturing.
- Proficient in computer applications with demonstrated working knowledge of SAP (MM Module) including material transactions, inventory control, and report generation.
- Solid understanding of warehouse processes and procedures including goods receipt and issue, material inspection, binning and stacking, inventory control, and ability to supervise contractor personnel and material handling activities in compliance with SOPs and HSE standards.
