About the Role
Venture Gulf Engineering W.L.L in Doha, Qatar seeks a Metering Instrument & Control Supervisor to oversee installation, maintenance, and testing of metering systems in oil & gas.

Responsibilities
- Supervise daily maintenance activities according to plans and priorities
- Supervise accuracy verification testing on Fiscal and internal balance measurement systems
- Supervise routine CM & PM of Fiscal, Custody Transfer, Check and Back up metering systems
- Guide technicians on flow computers, HMI controllers in metering systems
- Guide technicians on flow instruments such as USM, Coriolis, Turbine, Orifice inspection
- Guide technicians on control systems, SCADA, PLC
- Advise technicians and operations to resolve metering related issues
- Establish and maintain accurate recording and performance monitoring records
- Liaise with Senior Metering Engineers and prepare documents for Gas Audits
- Correspond with vendors and contractors on metering issues
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and lead risk assessments
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (4 yrs) in Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 5 years experience OR 3 years diploma with 8 10 years experience
- Experience in Metering Instrumentation & Control system maintenance from Oil & Gas, petrochemical/refinery
- GCC experience: 8 years (Required)

Scope of Job
- To supervise the installation, maintenance, engineering and testing of a wide range of Metering package installations, instrumentation, control and automation systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervises daily maintenance activities according to plans, work request priorities, and resource and material availabilities.
- Supervise during accuracy verification testing on all Fiscal and internal balance measurement systems.
- Supervise during routine CM & PM of Fiscal, Custody Transfer, Check and Back up metering systems.
- Processes updated information and understanding of measurement international standards.
- Able to guide technicians on flow computers, HMI controllers in different metering systems.
- Able to guide technicians on flow instruments such as USM, Coriolis, Turbine, Orifice inspection.
- Able to guide technicians on control systems, SCADA, PLC.
- Possess ability to advise technicians and operations to resolve metering related issues.
- Able to establish and maintain accurate recording and performance monitoring records.
- Liaise with Senior Metering Engineers and prepare documents for Gas Audits.
- Able to correspond with vendors and contractors on metering issues.
- Ensures compliance with maintenance and engineering work methods and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree (4 yrs) in Electronics/Instrumentation & Control Engineering with 5 years experience OR 3 years diploma with 8 10 years experience.
- Experience in Metering Instrumentation & Control system maintenance from Oil & Gas, petrochemical/refinery.
- Experience at the level of senior engineer would be an advantage.
Pay
- QAR 6,000.00 QAR 10,000.00 per month.
