Position Overview
Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful school corridor environment during class changes, breaks, and other transition periods.
Promote positive behavior and support students in navigating hallways responsibly.
Work with teaching staff, administrators, and students to enforce school policies on hallway conduct.
Corridor Supervision
- Oversee students in hallways during class transitions, lunch breaks, and other periods when students are in corridors.
- Ensure students move promptly and safely between classes while minimizing disruptions.
- Enforce rules on noise levels, running, and unauthorized activities.
- Prevent and address bullying, fighting, and other inappropriate behavior in hallways.
Student Guidance and Safety
- Provide reminders and positive reinforcement to encourage good corridor behavior.
- Assist students who need directions, guidance, or help during transition periods.
- Refer personal issues or conflicts to appropriate staff when necessary.
- Keep emergency exits and corridors clear of obstructions.
- Monitor hallway equipment and resources such as lockers, bulletin boards, and water fountains.
