Role Overview
The employer is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher in Doha.
The role requires creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with the kindergarten curriculum.
- Create a warm, safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Develop children’s early literacy, numeracy, communication, social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Use play-based learning, stories, songs, games, arts, crafts, and hands-on activities.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, displays, activities, and learning resources.
- Observe, assess, and document student progress and provide appropriate support.
- Differentiate teaching according to students’ abilities, interests, and developmental stages.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, confidence, respect, cooperation, and good manners.
- Maintain classroom routines, discipline, and health and safety standards.
- Provide care and supervision throughout the school day.
- Communicate with parents regarding students’ progress, development, and wellbeing.
- Work with colleagues, teaching assistants, and school leadership to support children’s development.
