Role Overview
The school is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Islamic Studies Teacher in Doha.
The teacher will create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver curriculum-based Islamic Studies lessons.
- Teach Islamic beliefs, values, history, ethics, traditions, Qur’an, Hadith, Seerah, and Islamic manners.
- Prepare teaching materials, assessments, and learning resources.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and differentiate instruction.
- Promote positive values and maintain effective classroom management.
- Communicate with families and colleagues and participate in school and extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies or a related field.
- Minimum three years of relevant teaching experience.
- Strong Islamic Studies knowledge and ability to teach the subject effectively.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English and Arabic language proficiency.
- A B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.
