Job Summary
Lead and support high-quality Arabic language teaching across the school in line with the Doha Academy curriculum and educational standards.
Oversee curriculum planning, teaching and assessment consistency, student progress, teacher support, whole-school initiatives, pastoral support, and parent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Arabic curriculum delivery across the school.
- Support teachers in planning, delivering, and improving Arabic lessons.
- Monitor student progress and achievement in Arabic.
- Ensure consistency in assessment, marking, and reporting.
- Coach and mentor Arabic teachers and provide professional support.
- Develop and review schemes of work and teaching resources.
- Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
- Conduct lesson observations and provide constructive feedback.
- Work with leadership and other departments to improve outcomes.
- Contribute to staff meetings, training, and school development plans.
- Support pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives.
- Communicate with parents about student progress and lead Arabic-related events.
