Job Summary
Deliver high-quality Mathematics teaching in line with the Doha Academy curriculum and educational standards.
Develop students' mathematical knowledge, problem-solving abilities, logical reasoning, and critical thinking skills.
Monitor student progress, address individual learning needs, and promote high standards of mathematical achievement.
Contribute to whole-school initiatives, pastoral support, enrichment activities, staff collaboration, and parent communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, challenging, and differentiated Mathematics lessons.
- Monitor, assess, and track student progress and achievement in Mathematics.
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning, and classroom management.
- Use teaching strategies, technology, and resources to support effective learning.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to improve students' mathematical understanding and performance.
- Develop and review schemes of work, lesson plans, assessments, and teaching resources.
- Differentiate instruction and implement intervention strategies for students needing additional support.
- Collaborate with colleagues and departments to improve student outcomes.
