Role Overview
A contracting company in Dubai is seeking an SAP S/4HANA Finance Implementation & Support professional.
The role supports end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation projects from the client side.
The position coordinates with implementation partners and internal stakeholders and supports user adoption and ongoing system support.
SAP Implementation and Support
- Participate in SAP S/4HANA Finance implementation, rollout, migration, and enhancement projects.
- Analyze finance and accounting requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP S/4HANA Finance processes.
- Provide functional support during implementation and after go-live.
Process Analysis and Solution Design
- Work with Finance and Accounting teams to understand business processes and system requirements.
- Support process mapping, gap analysis, and solution design during ERP transformation projects.
- Prepare functional documentation and align SAP solutions with business needs.
- Identify process improvement and standardization opportunities.
Testing, Migration, and User Support
- Support system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Assist with finance data migration, validation, and reconciliation.
- Troubleshoot functional issues with technical and business teams.
- Conduct user training and support end users during and after implementation.
Stakeholder and Post-Go-Live Support
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP consultants, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support change requests, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adoption of SAP S/4HANA Finance processes and provide post-implementation support.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in at least one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and FI/CO modules.
- Experience with Finance or Accounting teams during ERP transformation projects.
- Hands-on experience with SAP implementation, rollout, enhancement, or ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
- Experience in testing, UAT, data migration, user training, and post-go-live support.
Education and Background
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business, or a related field is required.
- A background in Finance, Accounting, Financial Reporting, or ERP systems is preferred.
Required Skillset
- SAP S/4HANA Finance FI/CO functional knowledge and configuration.
- Financial Accounting knowledge covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Asset Accounting.
- Cost Center Accounting and financial planning knowledge.
- Business process mapping and translation of finance requirements into SAP solutions.
- Testing, UAT, issue resolution, data migration, reconciliation, user training, and post-go-live support.
- Strong communication and collaboration with Finance teams and technical stakeholders.
