Role Overview
A UAE-based manufacturer of innovative and sustainable building materials is seeking an experienced Head of Sales.
The role will lead the sales function, drive project-led revenue growth, and strengthen relationships across the UAE and wider GCC.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market penetration, and project sales across key markets.
- Lead, manage, and develop the sales team by setting targets, KPIs, and performance expectations.
- Build and strengthen relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
- Drive specification-led sales by positioning company products during early design and project planning stages.
- Identify and secure major project opportunities, managing the sales cycle from lead generation through project closure.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, sales pipelines, and customer requirements to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with strong exposure to project sales within building materials or related construction products.
- Proven experience working for a manufacturer of building materials or construction products, with a strong understanding of technical and specification-led selling.
- Established relationships with architects, consultants, developers, contractors, and other key stakeholders within the UAE construction market.
- Demonstrable track record of securing and managing large-scale projects and achieving multi-million AED sales targets.
