Responsibilities
- Work on the transformation of finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring seamless transition of financial data, reporting, and analytics.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand existing SAP ECC Finance landscape and requirements for S/4HANA transformation.
- Design and implement comprehensive strategy for migrating SAP FI and CO modules to SAP S/4HANA, covering configurations, enhancements, and process optimization.
- Manage end to end requirement gathering, translating business needs into functional specifications and configurations.
- Support design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions including FA, Tax, GL, Fund management, PS modules.
- Conduct workshops and meetings to define and validate business requirements, ensuring solution meets financial reporting, compliance, and operational needs.
- Oversee testing phases including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT; develop test scripts and coordinate with teams.
- Provide guidance and training to key users and stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities.
- Monitor system performance post implementation, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure project documentation is up to date and complies with governance and audit standards.
- Identify potential risks during project lifecycle and propose mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with at least 2 3 years in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven experience in leading SAP Finance projects, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules, including new functionalities introduced in S/4HANA (e.g., New GL, S/4HANA Financial Reporting).
- Strong hands on experience in configuring SAP Finance modules, integrating SAP with other business systems (e.g., SAP MM, SD, HR).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori for Finance user interfaces and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting is desirable.
- Familiarity with data migration techniques for SAP, including the use of SAP Data Services or SAP S/4HANA migration tools.

Key Responsibilities
- Work on the transformation of finance processes from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, ensuring that financial data, reporting, and analytics are seamlessly transitioned.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the existing SAP ECC Finance landscape and requirements for the S/4HANA transformation.
- Design and implement a comprehensive strategy for migrating SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules to SAP S/4HANA, covering all necessary configurations, enhancements, and process optimization.
- Work closely with key business users, finance, and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and configurations.
- Support the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including modules like FA, Tax, GL, Fund management, PS modules and good understanding of other FI modules.
- Conduct workshops and meetings to define and validate business requirements, ensuring the solution meets client’s financial reporting, compliance, and operational needs.
- Provide deep knowledge of integration points between SAP Finance and other modules such as SAP SD & FI as mandatory and understanding of other cross module integration.
- Oversee the testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure the solution meets functional, technical, and business requirements.
- Develop test scripts, conduct workshops, and coordinate with various teams to validate the SAP S/4HANA Finance solution.
- Provide guidance and training to key users, functional leads, and business stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities and changes.
- Monitor the performance of the SAP Finance system post implementation, identifying opportunities for continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and financial reporting.
- Ensure that all project documentation, including system configuration, user guides, and process documentation, is kept up to date and complies with Client’s governance and audit standards.
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, with at least 2 3 years in SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Proven experience in leading SAP Finance projects, including ECC to S/4HANA migrations.
- Experience as a Consultant managing complex finance systems and transformations in large scale organizations.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) modules, including new functionalities introduced in S/4HANA (e.g., New GL, S/4HANA Financial Reporting).
- Strong hands on experience in configuring SAP Finance modules, integrating SAP with other business systems (e.g., SAP MM, SD, HR).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori for Finance user interfaces and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting is desirable.
- Familiarity with data migration techniques for SAP, including the use of SAP Data Services or SAP S/4HANA migration tools.
