SAP EWM consultant is required ASAP by our global client.
The successful candidate will design, configure, and optimize complex supply chain and logistics operations, translating business requirements into digital solutions, integrating EWM with core ERP systems to automate inventory control, labor management, and warehousing workflows
Responsibilities
- Set up / customise EWM modules for core operations like inbound/outbound processing, cross-docking, physical inventory, and handling unit management.
- Align EWM with other supply chain modules such as SAP MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and PP (Production Planning).
- Implement specialized features like Yard Management, Labor Management, and automated Radio Frequency (RF) frameworks.
- Develop test scripts, execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and troubleshoot production issues utilizing root-cause analysis.
- Translate business logic into functional specifications, create system documentation, and train end-users.
- **Essential experience**
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP implementation, rollouts, and production support.
- 5 years in a senior or lead SAP EWM Consultant role
- Minimum of 2 full end to end SAP S4 implementations
- Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA EWM, integration technologies (IDocs, RFC, APIs), and basic programming (ABAP) for technical customization.
- Proven track record of longevity in previous assignments and deliver capability
- Must have worked for a consultancy or major SI before
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and analytical problem-solving capabilities
