About the Role
JCA Associates is seeking an SAP IS-Oil SME (Upstream) for a global client in Abu Dhabi. The consultant will design, configure, and deploy Oil & Gas SAP modules, lead fit-to-standard workshops, and support S/4HANA migrations.

Responsibilities
- Lead system architecture, configuration, and blueprinting for core IS Oil modules
- Manage specialized functions including TSW, TD, HPM, and PRA
- Work with cross functional SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, and PM to ensure seamless end to end operational workflows
- Support S/4HANA migrations, perform cutover activities, and conduct fit to standard workshops
- Resolve complex post go live incidents, stabilize the system (Hypercare), and provide on demand functional support
Requirements
- Minimum of 5–8 years of hands on functional consulting in the Oil & Gas industry
- Proven track record of at least 2–3 full cycle SAP IS Oil implementations or major rollouts
- Minimum 3 years in SAP S/4HANA clients
- Deep techno functional understanding of TSW and TD shipment processes
- Strong understanding of hydrocarbon accounting, bulk shipments, pricing, and terminal operations
- Exceptional stakeholder management, with ability to bridge technical IT and business operations

Overview
- SAP IS Oil SME (Upstream) is required by our global client.
- The successful candidate will design, configure, and deploy specialized Oil & Gas SAP modules, conduct gap analysis, lead fit to standard workshops, and integrate core processes into client systems.
Responsibilities
- Solution Design: Lead system architecture, configuration, and blueprinting for core IS Oil modules.
- Core Module Execution: Manage specialized functions including TSW, TD, HPM, and PRA.
- Integration: Work with cross functional SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI/CO, and PM to ensure seamless end to end operational workflows.
- Migration & Upgrades: Support S/4HANA migrations, perform cutover activities, and conduct fit to standard workshops.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex post go live incidents, stabilize the system (Hypercare), and provide on demand functional support.
Essential Experience
- Minimum of 5–8 years of hands on functional consulting in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record of at least 2–3 full cycle SAP IS Oil implementations or major rollouts.
- Minimum 3 years in SAP S/4HANA clients.
- Deep techno functional understanding of TSW (Trading and Scheduling Workbench) and TD (Transportation and Distribution) shipment processes.
- A strong understanding of hydrocarbon accounting, bulk shipments, pricing, and terminal operations.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical IT deliverables and business operations.
