About the Role
Faena is seeking a Sales Manager – Transient for its pre-opening property in Riyadh. You will manage a portfolio of corporate, leisure, diplomatic, and online travel accounts to drive individual business performance.

- Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate, diplomatic, OTA, and leisure accounts across local, regional, and international markets
- Prospect and sign new corporate accounts, negotiating Local Negotiated Rates (LNRs) and preferred agreements that deliver measurable room night production
- Conduct regular account calls, business reviews, and site inspections to maintain strong relationships and maximize share of wallet
- Identify new business opportunities through market intelligence, competitor analysis, and proactive outreach
- Represent Faena Wadi Safar at trade shows, networking events, and client entertainment opportunities
- Manage relationships with key OTA partners, travel management companies (TMCs), and luxury travel consortia
- Work closely with Revenue Management to ensure rate parity, channel optimization, and production targets are consistently met
- Build and maintain relationships with luxury leisure agencies and travel advisors who drive high value individual bookings
- Develop and execute targeted leisure sales initiatives aligned with seasonal demand patterns and promotional calendar
- Identify and develop individual transient business from embassies, consulates, international organizations, and government affiliated travelers
- Support the Director of Sales in building the transient account database and CRM from the ground up ahead of opening
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hotel sales experience, ideally within the luxury or upper upscale segment
- Proven track record of managing a diverse transient account portfolio and consistently delivering against revenue targets
- Experienced in corporate account management, LNR negotiation, and working with OTA and TMC partners
- A natural relationship builder who is persistent, polished, and knows how to turn a first meeting into a long term account
- Familiar with GDS platforms and hotel CRM/sales systems, with strong attention to detail in account documentation and pipeline management
- Fluent in Arabic and English, with the interpersonal skills to connect equally with a corporate travel buyer, a luxury travel advisor, or a diplomatic account coordinator

The Role
- As Sales Manager – Transient, you will be the driving force behind Faena Wadi Safar's individual business performance — building and managing a portfolio of corporate, leisure, diplomatic, and online travel accounts that deliver consistent, high quality revenue across all transient segments.
- Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will work on the frontlines of the hotel's commercial engine — prospecting new accounts, deepening existing relationships, and converting opportunities into revenue with the precision and elegance that defines the Faena brand.
- This is a pre opening role, which means you will be instrumental in establishing the hotel's presence in the market, signing our first corporate agreements, and building the account base that will sustain Faena Wadi Safar's transient performance for years to come.
What You Will Create
