Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operation of all hotel engineering systems, ensuring flawless performance of MEP, building management, and technical equipment
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs that protect the property, reduce downtime, and maintain luxury standards
- Respond to technical challenges with precision and discretion, minimizing any guest impact
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of all hotel systems prior to opening
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and project teams to ensure readiness and operational confidence
- Contribute to the creation of SOPs, schedules, and departmental protocols
- Ensure adherence to Saudi regulations, fire and life safety standards, and environmental requirements
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and emergency preparedness exercises
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, service logs, and compliance records
- Identify opportunities to optimize energy, water, and resource efficiency without compromising luxury service
- Lead, coach, and inspire the engineering team, fostering pride, accountability, and a culture of excellence
- Partner with operations to anticipate needs, align priorities, and ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Experience in luxury hotel engineering management
- Knowledge of MEP, building management, and technical equipment
- Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance programs
- Familiarity with Saudi regulations, fire and life safety standards
- Ability to lead and inspire an engineering team
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills

The Role

- Supporting pre opening and ongoing operations, you will lead the engineering team in safeguarding Faena's ultra luxury standards.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee the daily operation of all hotel engineering systems.
- Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
- Respond to technical challenges with precision and discretion.
Pre Opening Readiness
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover of all hotel systems prior to opening.
- Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Contribute to the creation of SOPs, schedules, and departmental protocols.
Safety, Compliance & Sustainability
- Ensure adherence to Saudi regulations, fire and life safety standards.

Team Leadership & Development

- Work closely with the Director of Engineering to manage budgets, CAPEX, and vendor contracts.
- Collaborate with other departments to align technical operations with guest experiences.
- Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
