About the Role
Yas Plaza Hotels by Aldar Hospitality is seeking a Sales Executive for Meetings & Events to support the sales team with group/event quotations and contracts. The role involves managing a small portfolio of accounts, converting pipeline opportunities, and ensuring CRM discipline.

Responsibilities
- Manage a small portfolio of accounts in group and events segments, ensuring year on year production growth and account/segment penetration
- Convert pipeline opportunities into confirmed business through meetings, proposals, and contract negotiations
- Maintain full CRM discipline: log activities, manage opportunities, and update group and event blocks and forecasts accurately and on time
- Ensure full compliance with brand and cluster Group and Event guidelines, including group ceilings, target rates, and space release policies
- Follow SOPs for group and event contracting, block management, rate loading, and account management across all assigned assets
- Support to organize site inspections, client entertainment, and sales blitzes targeting MICE buyers
- Ensure negotiated group and event rates, master accounts, and add ons are correctly loaded into PMS/CRS/booking tools; monitor pick up and wash
- Ensure timely, complete, and efficient handover of confirmed business to the reactive sales events team
- Work daily with revenue management, banquets/F&B, operations, marketing, distribution, and finance to align pricing, packaging, and promotional activity
- Provide commercial input into product and meeting experience development to create compelling, differentiated offers
- Build and maintain relationships with procurement leads, travel managers, government entities, and MICE bookers
- Prepare regular performance reports and maintain accurate records of all correspondence, rate agreements, and promotional activities
Requirements
- Graduate in Hotel Management, specializing in sales
- 1 year of experience in meetings & events sales
- Computer literate with effective and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
- Local/additional international language is an added advantage

- The Sales Executive Meetings & Events is an enthusiastic and detail oriented sales professional responsible for supporting the sales team with group/event quotations and contracts.
- This role focuses on handling small to medium sized group and event requests and taking these through the sales process, preparing reports, ensuring system accuracy, and coordinating daily sales operations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Convert pipeline opportunities into confirmed business through meetings, proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Maintain full CRM discipline: log activities, manage opportunities, and update group and event blocks and forecasts accurately and on time.

Reporting, Tools & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare regular performance reports.
- Maintain accurate records of all correspondence, rate agreements, and promotional activities.
- Monitor production of assigned accounts and update internal trackers and dashboards.
- Support the sales team with administrative duties, database maintenance, and event coordination.
- Champion the use of CRM and reporting tools to ensure efficient processes and data driven decision making.
- Continuously review sales processes and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
- Graduate in Hotel Management, specializing in sales.
- 1 year of experience in meetings & events sales.
- Computer literate with effective and outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Local/additional international language is an added advantage.
