Role Overview
Noorka Logistics is seeking a Safety Officer for its operations team in Dubai.
The role supports safety across logistics and warehouse activities and helps protect employees, visitors, equipment, and company assets.
The position supports compliance with applicable UAE safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Inspect warehouses, loading areas, vehicles, and operational workplaces.
- Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
- Monitor PPE compliance and safe working practices.
- Organize safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions, and awareness programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
- Maintain inspection checklists, incident reports, safety records, and compliance documentation.
- Monitor emergency preparedness, fire equipment, evacuation procedures, and emergency drills.
- Coordinate with supervisors and management to resolve safety concerns.
- Promote safe forklift, vehicle, lifting, loading, unloading, and warehouse practices.
- Support internal safety audits and follow up on corrective actions.
