IT Engineer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, systems, and network environments.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
• Provide technical support to employees and handle daily IT requests.
• Configure and maintain LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network devices.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, email accounts, and system credentials.
• Support Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
• Monitor system performance and identify potential technical issues.
• Perform software installations, updates, security patches, and routine maintenance.
• Maintain IT asset registers, equipment records, software licenses, and technical documentation.
• Assist with data backup, recovery, and basic disaster recovery procedures.
• Apply IT security practices and coordinate with external IT vendors when needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience as an IT Engineer, IT Support Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking, TCP/IP, LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, email systems, and user account administration.
• Knowledge of IT security, antivirus solutions, system updates, and data backup procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize technical issues and work independently or collaboratively.
