Role Description
The Room Attendant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar.
The role is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas to high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Responsibilities
- Make beds, dust, vacuum, replenish amenities, and sanitize bathrooms.
- Handle laundry items as needed and care for linens and guest items.
- Report maintenance issues and follow housekeeping procedures.
- Adhere to safety, sanitation, and hygiene guidelines.
- Interact with guests professionally, respond to requests, and support guest satisfaction.
- Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- Housekeeping and room-cleaning skills with attention to detail and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Laundry handling skills, including sorting, cleaning, and proper care of linens and guest items.
- Strong communication and customer service skills for interacting with guests and team members.
- Previous hospitality, housekeeping, or room attendant experience is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions, work on schedules, and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of safety, sanitation, and infection control practices; training will be provided as needed.
