Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate tasks and supervise housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Monitor work quality and train team members on cleaning procedures and safety protocols.
- Manage cleaning supply and linen inventory.
- Coordinate with other departments on maintenance or guest-related needs.
- Handle housekeeping-related customer queries or complaints.
- Maintain room status and cleaning schedule records.
- Ensure work meets organizational and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, task delegation, and performance monitoring.
- Solid housekeeping skills, including cleaning procedures, room preparation standards, and housekeeping equipment.
- Laundry skills covering the handling, sorting, and processing of linens and garments.
- Customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to organize workloads, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in hospitality or housekeeping is advantageous.
- Previous housekeeping supervisory or similar hospitality or facilities management experience is highly beneficial.
