Opportunity Overview

Licensed Aircraft Engineer – B1/B2 opportunity with a top aviation company in Cyprus.

The industry is aircraft maintenance and business aviation.

Gross annual salary is €55,000–€75,000.

Applicants currently residing in Qatar will be considered.

Experience and Qualifications

  • 8–10 years of relevant aircraft maintenance experience are required.
  • A valid EASA Part-66 B1 and/or B2 Licence is required.
  • Relevant aircraft type rating is preferred or required according to the assigned position.
  • Experience in line and/or base maintenance is required.
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures and regulations is required.
  • EASA Part-145 environment experience is advantageous.
  • Good technical English communication skills are required.
  • The role requires shifts, weekends, and public holidays when necessary.
  • Strong commitment to aviation safety, quality, and compliance is expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform aircraft maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and rectification activities.
  • Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance under approved procedures.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and avionics-related defects within B1/B2 privileges.
  • Certify maintenance work within approved licence and company authorizations.
  • Ensure compliance with EASA regulations, Part-145 procedures, and company standards.
  • Complete maintenance documentation accurately and on time.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams and other technical departments.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and airworthiness.

  • Aircraft type-rating certificates should be provided where applicable.
  • Maintenance experience records and relevant training or certification documents may be requested.
  • Employment or reference certificates may be provided if available.
