About the Role
Galderma is seeking a Technical Manager for semi-solid products to act as the main technical interface with external suppliers. You will lead validation activities, process improvements, and technical transfers.

Responsibilities
- Act as technical interface with external suppliers (CDMOs) and internal stakeholders
- Lead validation and verification activities of manufacturing processes at subcontractors
- Support root cause investigations related to product and process deviations
- Drive process changes and improvements (cost reduction, supply security, product quality) with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead or act as subject matter expert (SME) during technical transfers for assigned products
- Conduct problem solving activities, Lean initiatives, and workshops at suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and yields
- Ensure Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) standards are updated and regulatory requirements are met
- Monitor capacity and robustness of assigned CDMOs as expert of manufacturing capabilities
- Ensure smooth flow of knowledge and information between functions and sites
- Evaluate new formulations and processes proposed by CDMOs
- Collaborate with suppliers to optimize product formulations
- Support transfer of R&D activities to operations including technical documentation, development reports, scale up reports
Requirements
- University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Cosmetic, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Engineering in a related field
- 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial manufacturing or development of semi solid products
- Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in development or manufacturing of commercial semi solid products
- Experience in cosmetic or pharmaceutical industry strongly desired
- Good knowledge of GMP/GDP requirements
- Proven experience in project management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work in an international and matrix environment

Role Overview
- The Technical Manager Semi Solid Products acts as main point of contact between Galderma and external suppliers for technical aspects related to products and manufacturing processes.
- Product portfolio mainly consists of semi solid cosmetic products.
Principales Responsabilités
- Interface technique avec les fournisseurs externes et les parties prenantes internes.
- Diriger les activités de validation et de vérification des procédés de fabrication chez les sous traitants.
- Soutenir les investigations de causes racines liées aux écarts de produits et de procédés.
- Piloter les changements et améliorations de procédés.
- Diriger ou agir en tant qu'expert technique lors des transferts techniques.
- Mener les activités de résolution de problèmes, les initiatives Lean et les ateliers chez les fournisseurs.
- Garantir la mise à jour des standards MS&T et le respect des exigences réglementaires.
- Assurer le suivi des capacités et de la robustesse des CDMO assignés.
- Veiller à une circulation fluide des connaissances et des informations.
Interface avec les équipes Développement
- Évaluer les nouvelles formulations et les procédés associés proposés par les CDMO.
- Collaborer avec les fournisseurs pour optimiser les formulations produits.
- Évaluer les modifications apportées aux entreprises fournisseurs ou à leurs procédés.
- Assurer et soutenir le transfert des activités de la R&D vers les opérations.
Gestion technique du cycle de vie des produits
- Agir en tant qu'expert produit et être responsable des produits semi solides assignés.
- Réviser et approuver les spécifications de fabrication ainsi que les autres documents techniques.
- Apporter un soutien technique aux équipes Développement et aux autres départements MS&T.
- Être responsable des activités techniques liées à la gestion du cycle de vie des produits (LCM).
- Soutenir les équipes Qualité et Affaires Réglementaires lors des audits, soumissions réglementaires, etc.
- Collaborer de manière étroite avec les fonctions transversales : R&D, Marketing, Qualité, Affaires Réglementaires, Achats et sites de production.
Exigences minimales
- Diplôme universitaire (Licence/Baccalauréat ou Master) en Cosmétique, Pharmacie, Chimie ou Ingénierie.
- 5 à 10 ans d'expérience en fabrication industrielle ou en développement de produits semi solides.
- Minimum 5 à 10 ans d'expérience dans le développement ou la fabrication de produits semi solides commerciaux.
- Expérience dans l'industrie cosmétique ou pharmaceutique fortement souhaitée.
- Bonne connaissance des exigences BPF/GMP et GDP.
- Expérience avérée en gestion de projets.
- Excellentes compétences en communication et en collaboration.
- Capacité à travailler dans un environnement international et matriciel.
