Reliability Manager/ Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement reliability strategies aligned with operational objectives.
• Analyze equipment performance, failure patterns, downtime, and maintenance data.
• Identify recurring failure modes and recommend corrective or preventive actions.
• Support reliability-centered maintenance and asset-management initiatives.
• Conduct root-cause analysis for significant equipment and operational failures.
• Develop reliability improvement plans, performance indicators, and action programs.
• Review maintenance strategies and identify opportunities to improve asset availability.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, operations, and procurement teams.
• Monitor reliability KPIs and provide performance reports and management recommendations.
• Promote continuous improvement, risk reduction, and cost-effective asset performance.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in reliability engineering, maintenance, asset management, or engineering operations is preferred.
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability, failure analysis, preventive maintenance, and asset performance.
• Knowledge of root-cause analysis, reliability improvement methods, and maintenance optimization.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
• Ability to interpret maintenance records, operational data, and equipment performance indicators.
• Proficiency in preparing technical reports, reliability assessments, and improvement plans.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Understanding of risk management, cost control, and operational efficiency.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with remote technical teams.
