QA/QC Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures.
• Review project specifications, drawings, inspection requirements, and quality documentation.
• Monitor project activities for compliance with approved standards and requirements.
• Prepare and maintain inspection plans, checklists, quality records, and reports.
• Review material submissions, technical documents, and inspection records.
• Identify non-conformities, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality inspections, testing activities, and follow-up requirements.
• Work with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
• Monitor quality performance and identify process-improvement opportunities.
• Support internal reviews, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction, Quality Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in QA/QC, engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project quality management is preferred.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance, quality control, inspection, and compliance processes.
• Knowledge of technical specifications, quality standards, inspection procedures, and documentation requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to identify quality risks, investigate issues, and recommend practical corrective actions.
• Proficiency in preparing quality reports, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Organizational skills to manage multiple quality activities and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote project teams.
