Overview

  • The Regional Marketing and Communications Manager for MEA Region is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communications strategies to drive business growth, enhance brand visibility, and strengthen customer engagement across the Middle East and Africa region for Motion H

Strategy & Execution

  • Design and execute the regional marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment with business priorities and ABB brand standards.
  • Manage budget, cost, and suppliers to maintain compliance and quality. Report performance metrics and market insights to support decision making.

Implementation & Activation

  • Deliver impactful product launches, campaigns, events, media activities and lead generation programs with consistent messaging and appropriate channel strategy, to strengthen ABB’s presence across the region.
  • Tailor and localize global content and messaging based on regional relevance and channel fit. Support local business growth by leading customer engagement initiatives.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration

  • Build regional communication platforms to foster collaboration across countries. Advise local and regional leadership teams on brand, PR, digital presence and internal communications.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross divisional teams to ensure a coherent, unified approach towards target audiences.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the field of Marketing, with demonstrated career progression in complex matrix organizations.
  • Solid experience in brand management, demand generation, digital channels and media relations. Proven expertise in technical B2B/industrial marketing and communications.
  • Market awareness in the Middle East & Africa region is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing multicultural, multi country teams.
  • Savvy with digital marketing tools and social media.
  • Hands on execution ability combined with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, capable of working with both local and global leaders.
  • Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and partners to achieve cost efficient agreements while safeguarding quality and service level.
  • Analytical skills to measure performance and optimize activities.
  • Fluent in English is mandatory, Arabic is an advantage.
