About the Role
Kempinski Hotel Doha seeks a Recreation Supervisor to oversee pool, tennis, squash, spa, and excursion activities. You will ensure safety, supervise staff, maintain equipment, and plan recreation programs.

- Monitor maintaining and cleaning of pools, tennis and squash courts, and spa
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure quality and hygiene
- Manage inventory of pool equipment, towels, tennis and squash equipment, and excursion equipment
- Plan recreation programs for staff including sports tournaments
Requirements
- Experience in recreation, spa, or similar hospitality role
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to supervise and train staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills

Role Overview
- Under the general direction of the Assistant Recreation Manager, Recreation Manager or his/her delegate and within the limits of established of all recreation activities, Spa, Kid’s Club as Squash Courts, helps ensuring that the policy and safety manual are enforced.
- Helps ensuring the safety of the guests and the employees, helps with the 'On The Job Training' by the Recreation Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures all Excursions (Sea Trip etc.), Pool Activities, and Tennis & Squash Activities as well as the Spa Activities are done accordingly to the operational standards.
- Is responsible for the safety of the guests and employees at the Pool, Tennis & Squash Courts, Spa and while on excursion
- Monitors all Life Guards, Tennis Instructor, Pool Supervisor, Kids Club Attendants and all other Yoga and Aerobics Instructors, the Spa Area in general and Excursion Guides.
- Monitors the maintaining and cleaning of the Pool(s), Tennis & Squash Courts and Spa.
- Regularly conducts routine inspections of area under his/her control to ensure quality and hygiene.
- Is responsible for inventory of the pool equipment, towels, tennis & squash equipment as well as excursion equipment.
- Checks excursions on a regular base and enforces punctuality, quality and safety as well as top maintained equipment (boats, buses, trucks etc..) if required
- Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress, hygiene, uniforms, appearance and posture of all personnel working for him/her.
- Plans recreation programs for the staff which involves: soccer, water polo, soccer tennis, table tennis, squash, and tennis and volley ball tournaments.
- Performs related duties and special projects as assigned by the Recreation Manager.

- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objectives of this position.
- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policy on Fire, Hygiene, and Health & Safety.
- Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and rectified immediately.
- Perform any other duties as assigned to them by management.
