Landmark Hotels & Suites seeks a Receptionist to handle guest check-ins, maintain positive guest relations, and resolve complaints. Hotel industry experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction
- Maintain complete knowledge of all hotel features, services, room rates, and promotions
- Answer department telephone within 3 rings, using correct greeting and telephone etiquette
- Process all guest check-ins and check-outs
- Verify registration card information with the guest
- Obtain backup information for guest credit/payment method and input into system
- Direct Bell Person to escort guest and transport their luggage to the room
- Handle overbooked or walked-in guests
- Accept and record wake-up call requests
- Monitor, send, and distribute guest faxes
Requirements
- Hotel industry experience
- Ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs
- Maintain positive guest relations
- Resolve guest complaints
- Knowledge of hotel features, services, and room rates
- Telephone etiquette
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs
- Verify registration card information
- Obtain backup information for guest credit/payment method
- Handle overbooked or walked-in guests
