About the Role

  • Real Estate Operations Coordinator to support the day to day operations of residential and commercial property portfolios.
  • High ownership operational role focused on tenant communication, leasing coordination, maintenance management, property system updates, and owner reporting.

What You’ll Own

  • Respond to tenant inquiries related to rent payments, lease terms, maintenance requests, and property policies.
  • Track all communication within Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar platforms.
  • Send reminders for rent due dates, lease renewals, and compliance notices.
  • Draft, review, and process lease agreements, lease renewals, and tenant onboarding documentation.
  • Manage documentation using DocuSign or Dotloop.
  • Maintain organized and compliant tenant files.
  • Support property marketing across Zillow, Apartments.com, and MLS listing platforms.
  • Maintain accurate records across property management software.
  • Track rent collections, delinquencies, occupancy status, and late fees.
  • Generate and reconcile rent rolls, delinquency reports, and occupancy trackers.
  • Create and assign vendor work orders and track maintenance tickets.
  • Prepare owner statements, cash flow summaries, occupancy reports, and vacancy updates.

Requirements (Must Have)

  • 2+ years of experience in property management, leasing coordination, real estate operations, or property administration.
  • Hands on experience with Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, or similar property management systems.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Google Workspace skills.
  • Familiarity with lease documentation, rent collection workflows, and tenant communication processes.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Experience managing portfolios of 100+ units.
  • Multi state property management experience.
  • Familiarity with security deposits, trust accounting, owner statements, and property accounting workflows.
  • Experience in residential property management, commercial real estate, or mixed use portfolios.
