Role Overview
Operate a Reach Stacker or Empty Handler to load and unload containers safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Operate a reach stacker to move materials and containers around the storage yard, terminal, or similar location.
- Position the reach stacker under, over, or around loaded or empty containers for transport to designated vehicles or yard locations.
- Perform routine reach stacker maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing liquefied gas tanks.
- Manually load or unload materials or containers with lifting devices.
- Load and unload empty or full containers using safety precautions.
- Ensure containers are handled using the proper method.
- Follow safety guidelines while operating a reach stacker to load and unload containers.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Valid operator's license.
- At least three years of experience operating lifting devices.
