Role Overview
BCO Sales Manager role focused on growing Gulftainer’s port and terminal business.
Win new customers and container volumes across the UAE.
The position is commercially driven and focused on customer acquisition and market share growth.
Sales and Business Development
- Hunt and win new BCO customers and container volumes across the UAE.
- Build a sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, customer visits and outside sales.
- Target shippers, manufacturers, importers, exporters and cargo owners.
- Build relationships with Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement and Commercial decision-makers.
- Capture cargo from competing ports and terminals.
- Own the sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through negotiation and conversion.
Market Development
- Develop new business across automotive, FMCG, retail, food, manufacturing and other priority sectors.
- Work with commercial and operations teams to develop customer solutions.
- Drive sustainable volume growth.
Preferred Background
- A proven track record in new business development and customer acquisition is required.
- Experience in ports, terminals, shipping, logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain is preferred.
- Strong knowledge and networks within the UAE market are preferred.
- The role suits a sales hunter who enjoys market activity, relationship building and winning business.
