Job Purpose
Provide commercial and technical oversight by verifying quantities and quality of event-related works delivered by suppliers against approved BOQs.
Lead quantity verification, certify verified quantities for commercial validation and supplier payment, and maintain accurate project documentation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Review and interpret approved BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Lead quantity surveying and verification across assigned projects.
- Conduct site inspections during build-up, live event operations, and dismantling.
- Validate measurements and quantity records prepared by the QS Coordinator.
- Verify delivered quantities against approved BOQs.
- Inspect fabrication, branding, flooring, fencing, temporary structures, rentals, and installations.
- Review workmanship, finishes, and compliance with approved specifications.
- Resolve quantity and quality discrepancies with suppliers and project teams.
- Approve quantity verification reports before invoice processing.
- Support supplier reconciliations, audits, supplier performance reviews, and payment validation.
- Recommend acceptance or rejection of deliveries and escalate significant issues.
- Mentor, guide, and supervise the QS Coordinator.
