About the Role
Contract Event Project Manager role leading end-to-end delivery of large-scale concerts, festivals, exhibitions, and theatrical productions across Qatar.
Own each project from concept through post-event reporting while coordinating marketing, ticketing, production, technical teams, sponsors, venues, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, budgeting, procurement, scheduling, and on-site delivery across the full event project lifecycle.
- Manage timelines, run sheets, and post-event reporting.
- Coordinate marketing, creative approvals, and ticketing partners, including pricing, seating, and sales tracking.
- Act as primary contact for clients, sponsors, venues, and government stakeholders.
- Manage cost reporting, reconciliation, vendor quotations, and purchase orders.
- Support stage design, branding, activations, sound, lighting, rigging, and video with production and technical teams.
- Oversee venue setup, food and beverage operations, and guest experience on event days.
- Ensure permits, licences, insurance, and health, safety, and risk plans comply with local regulations.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–7 or more years delivering large-scale events within the GCC.
- Experience with concerts, festivals, exhibitions, sports, or theatrical and live entertainment events.
- Strong stakeholder management, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ticketing platforms and campaign analytics is a plus.
- Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Flexible for evenings, weekends, and travel during event periods.
- Must hold or readily obtain a Qatar work visa or QID, and must own a vehicle and hold a driver's licence.
Compensation and Contract
- Monthly salary is QAR 33,000, depending on experience.
- Daily per diem is provided when working on-site or travelling for events.
- Ground transportation is provided during on-site event operations.
- Immediate hire contract runs through February 2027, with potential to extend for further 2027 productions.
Schedule
- In-lieu rest days are provided in line with Qatar labour law, including additional rest after major event periods.
- Start is ASAP.
Location
- The role is based in Doha, Qatar and includes on-site event operations and travel as required.
