Role Overview
Quantity Surveyor role focused on pre-contract commercial activities across concept, design development, and procurement stages.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility estimates during concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
- Conduct cost benchmarking, market pricing, and value engineering to support commercial decision-making.
- Work with design and development teams to maintain cost efficiency and budget alignment during design development.
- Develop bills of quantities and detailed cost estimates from design drawings and specifications.
- Lead RFQs, tender evaluations, and cost comparison reports for contractor and consultant appointments.
- Assist with procurement strategies and tender documentation.
- Support cashflow projections, cost reporting, and internal commercial presentations.
- Maintain cost databases, market rates, and benchmarking resources.
- Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams for cost accuracy and commercial alignment.
Requirements
- Capability to prepare project budgets, cost plans, feasibility estimates, bills of quantities, and detailed cost estimates.
- Capability to support tendering, procurement strategy development, cost reporting, and commercial presentations.
