Role Overview
The Quantity Surveyor will support pre-contract commercial activities across concept, schematic, and detailed design stages.
The role focuses on cost efficiency, budget alignment, estimating, tendering, procurement support, and commercial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, and feasibility estimates.
- Conduct cost benchmarking, market pricing, and value engineering.
- Develop Bills of Quantities and detailed cost estimates from drawings and specifications.
- Lead RFQs, tender evaluations, and cost comparison reports.
- Assist with procurement strategies and tender documentation.
- Support cashflow projections, cost reporting, and commercial presentations.
- Maintain cost databases, market rates, and benchmarking resources.
- Collaborate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Ability to prepare project budgets, cost plans, feasibility estimates, BOQs, and detailed cost estimates.
- Ability to support tendering, procurement strategy, cost reporting, and cashflow projections.
- Ability to collaborate with design teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders on commercial alignment.
