Your Mission

  • As a Quantity Surveyor focused on Turnkey Projects, you are responsible for the commercial success of projects from tender stage through to final account settlement.
  • You lead the development of cost estimates, project budgets, commercial strategies and cost controls.
  • A key part of your role is the management of variations, claims and contractual entitlements.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets and commercial proposals for turnkey projects.
  • Develop Bills of Quantities (BoQs), scope breakdowns and structured work packages.
  • Prepare tender packages and manage commercial engagement with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate, benchmark and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
  • Lead value engineering initiatives to align project budgets with design, technical and operational requirements.
  • Establish and maintain project cost control systems.
  • Manage project variations, change orders and commercial adjustments.
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies for variations, extension of time claims, disruption claims and other contractual entitlements.
  • Interpret and administer project contracts.
  • Manage subcontractor commercial performance.
  • Prepare cost forecasts, cash flow projections and commercial reports.
  • Support project teams in identifying, mitigating and managing commercial and contractual risks.

Your Profile

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Cost Management or Contract Administration.
  • Strong experience within construction related sectors such as main contracting, interior fit out, exhibition construction, MEP, infrastructure, media technology, system integration or other turnkey project environments.
  • A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline is required.
  • Demonstrated experience managing project costs from tender stage through project completion and final account settlement.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract administration, commercial management principles and claims management processes.
  • Proven experience in variation management, contractual claims preparation, negotiation and resolution.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop strategic approaches to complex commercial and contractual challenges.
  • Advanced analytical and financial management skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent MS Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Fluent English is required. Additional languages, particularly German, are considered an advantage.
  • A proactive, solution oriented mindset with strong ownership, accountability and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic project environments.
