- Prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for bridge and highway works
- Monitor project costs, track progress against budgets, and produce regular cost reports for project stakeholders

- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast costs and manage financial risks
- Support value engineering, verify contractor and subcontractor claims
- Maintain documentation in line with internal procedures and international standards
Requirements
- Strong cost planning and cost management skills, including experience with cost forecasting and budgeting for bridge and highway projects
- Proficiency in cost control and cost reporting, with the ability to monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and prepare clear financial reports
- Solid experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing BOQs for civil, bridge, and highway works
- Relevant academic background such as a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field
- Professional experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer on infrastructure, bridge, or highway projects
- Familiarity with standard forms of contract and construction procurement methods
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem solving abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary project teams on site
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., MS Excel, cost estimating software; exposure to CAD or BIM is an advantage)
- Commitment to health, safety, quality, and environmental standards in line with ISO based management systems

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Quantity Surveyor role focused on bridge and highway projects, located in New York, NY.
- The Quantity Surveyor will prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for bridge and highway works, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Daily responsibilities include monitoring project costs, tracking progress against budgets, and producing regular cost reports for project stakeholders.
- The role involves analyzing drawings and technical documents, supporting tender and variation submissions, and collaborating closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to forecast costs and manage financial risks.
