Quantity Surveyor role with a leading Abu Dhabi interior design and fit-out company.
The role supports commercial management and project delivery for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
About the Client
The client is an Abu Dhabi-based interior design and fit-out company with more than 25 years of experience.
The company delivers high-end, turnkey interior solutions across diverse industries.
Core Responsibilities
- Prepare estimates, BOQs, tender submissions, pricing, and quantity take-offs for interior fit-out and joinery projects.
- Manage pre-contract and post-contract QS activities, including cost planning, valuations, variations, and contract administration.
- Control costs, support procurement, and prepare final accounts.
- Review drawings and specifications to identify savings, value engineering solutions, and commercial risks.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
- Prepare tender comparisons and manage variations and change orders.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, project management, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 8–10 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in the UAE or GCC.
- Strong experience in interior fit-out and joinery.
- Project experience across commercial, residential, and hospitality sectors.
- Expertise in estimation, BOQs, take-offs, cost planning, tendering, valuations, variations, contract administration, procurement, and cost control.
- Knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, subcontractor pricing, and procurement.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and QS or estimation software.
- Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
