- Monitor electrical construction works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Review contractor submittals including method statements, material approvals, shop drawings, and inspection test plans (ITPs).
- Conduct site inspections for electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, ELV systems, grounding, and cabling.
- Ensure all electrical materials and equipment meet project specifications and approved standards.
- Witness testing and commissioning of electrical systems and verify compliance with project requirements.
- Raise, track, and close non conformance reports (NCRs) with appropriate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and test reports.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and airport specific electrical and safety regulations.
- Prepare periodic quality reports highlighting issues, risks, and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- 8 10 years of experience in electrical quality control.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, ELV, grounding, and cabling.
- Experience with contractor submittals, method statements, material approvals, shop drawings, and ITPs.
- Ability to conduct site inspections and witness testing and commissioning.
- Familiarity with international standards and airport specific electrical and safety regulations.
