- Conduct and participate in company safety audits for contractors and subcontractors
- Review contract documents for safety requirements and advise project manager of deficiencies
- Review and comment on onsite safety organizations and key personnel CVs
- Review safety procedures submitted by contractors and ensure implementation compliance
- Ensure all onsite activities comply with safety procedures
- Monitor contractor safety staff adequacy and report shortfalls
- Review contractor safety records and ensure regular maintenance of construction equipment
- Monitor site activities daily, issue non compliance reports
- Participate in weekly and monthly executive meetings
- Coordinate with senior safety engineer to ensure HSE policy implementation
Requirements
- Experience in construction HSE engineering
- Knowledge of safety regulations and risk assessment
- Ability to conduct safety audits and inspections
- Strong communication and reporting skills

Role Overview
- HSE Engineer responsible for ensuring safety compliance on construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct and/or participate in company safety audits for Contractor and Sub Contractor.
- Carry on risk assessment as directed by Company or Senior Safety Engineer.
- Review contract documents for each Construction Package regarding safety requirements and procedures.
- Review and comment on onsite safety organizations and key personnel CVs submitted by Contractor.
- Review Safety Procedures submitted by Contractor and ensure implementation compliance.
- Review Inspection, Test, and Plans submitted by Contractors for safety compliance.
- Ensure all activities onsite comply with safety procedures.
- Ensure Contractor’s safety staff are adequate onsite and report shortfalls.
- Review Contractor's safety records and documents to ensure major construction equipment is maintained regularly.
- Ensure Contractors labourers follow safety procedures and report deficiencies.
- Closely monitor site activities daily, issuing non compliance reports.
- Participate in weekly meetings and monthly executive meetings.
