- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and inspection plans for building construction projects
- Review and ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations
- Conduct inspections and audits on materials, work processes, and completed construction to ensure they meet required quality standards
- Monitor the work of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they adhere to quality standards
- Identify non conformities and initiate corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and audit reports
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to resolve quality related issues
- Perform testing of construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Assist in the preparation and review of project quality plans and risk assessments
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality control throughout the construction process
- Ensure that site staff are properly trained in quality control procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer in building construction within GCC
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and quality control practices
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and local standards (UAE experience preferred)
- Proficiency in QA/QC software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
