PUMA Group is seeking a Junior Manager Purchasing to manage overall inventory and drive purchasing for its GCC operations from Dubai.
The role covers order management, demand coordination, supply tracking, and collaboration with merchandising, logistics, and global supply chain teams.
Work Arrangement
- The role is full-time and on-site in Dubai, UAE.
Purchasing and Order Management
- Oversee the full order processing cycle and execute purchasing activities based on approved demand and buying plans.
- Coordinate timely creation and placement of purchase orders.
- Conduct monthly checks of open purchase orders against OTB.
- Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, customer service, order fulfillment, and vendors to ensure smooth order execution.
Demand and Supply Coordination
- Translate market requirements into purchasing needs and support seasonal buying and forecast processes.
- Highlight significant changes in demand and their potential supply implications.
- Monitor inventory development, including free available stock.
- Support inventory balancing initiatives.
Orderbook and Supply Management
- Track purchase orders with factories through shipment readiness.
- Provide regular visibility of open orders, delays, and supply risks.
- Coordinate with Global Supply Chain teams on delivery delays, shortages, allocations, and order changes.
- Drive follow-up actions to minimize supply disruptions and cancellations.
SAP, Analytics, and Reporting
- Maintain product master data and price uploads in SAP.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics.
- Prepare regular purchasing, orderbook, and supply performance reports.
- Identify recurring issues and propose practical process improvements.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.
- At least three years of experience is required.
- Retail or wholesale experience is preferred.
- Strong SAP proficiency and solid Excel skills are required; Power BI is advantageous.
- Business-level written and verbal communication skills are required.
- An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and continuous improvement orientation are expected.
Salary Benchmark
- The stated salary benchmark is AED 18,000-26,000 per month for a purchasing junior manager with three or more years of retail or wholesale experience in Dubai.
