Role Overview
The Demand and Supply Planning Specialist supports a beverage manufacturing operation in Riyadh.
The role ensures products are available across KSA branches and warehouses in the right quantities and at the right time.
The position combines demand forecasting, production planning, material planning, and dispatch coordination.
Demand Planning and Forecasting
- Collect and analyze regional and sales forecasts, warehouse available space, and production capacity.
- Prepare statistical forecasts per SKU and update demand and supply planning KPIs.
- Perform root cause analysis and define corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify sales trend drivers to improve demand planning accuracy.
Production and Material Planning
- Create production plans based on available stocks, capacity, demand, and actual sales trends.
- Plan raw and packaging materials while considering shelf life, warehouse capacity, and optimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to meet required production volumes.
Supply and Dispatch Planning
- Develop dispatch plans to balance stock across KSA branches and warehouses.
- Maintain committed days-of-supply targets while minimizing bad goods and out-of-stocks.
- Coordinate with logistics on stock availability and movement.
Commercial and Operations Coordination
- Translate sales forecasts and volume commitments into actionable production and supply plans.
- Serve as a link between commercial and technical business functions.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in FMCG industry supply chain.
- Strong knowledge of SAP DSP/APO is mandatory.
- Solid demand and supply planning knowledge and experience.
- Good command of English.
- Ability to manage KPIs, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous improvement.
Salary
- The posting states a base salary of SAR 14,000 to SAR 22,000 per month.
Workplace and Schedule
- The role is full-time and on-site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
